On August 17, a little-known public satellite company was selected for new U.S. Space Force work.
Here is the part that should make Elon Musk uncomfortable:
SpaceX helps launch this rival's satellites.
I am Dr. Mark Skousen. I spent three years inside CIA headquarters studying pattern recognition and called the SpaceX listing months before the mainstream press caught on.
To me, today's launch customer could become tomorrow's strategic threat.
See the evidence connecting this Space Force-backed satellite stock to SpaceX.
The company controls assets Musk cannot manufacture overnight: spectrum, orbital positions, contracts and customer relationships.
Its official quarterly disclosures also point to fresh awards and substantial segment backlogs.
And Musk has shown he understands the value of these assets. SpaceX acquired Swarm and later disclosed a major spectrum agreement with EchoStar.
I believe every new launch and award can make this rival more established - and potentially more expensive to pursue.
No offer is guaranteed. But if Musk ever moves, investors who ignored the SpaceX relationship may meet this company only after the headline.
